Leeway

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 11, 2026

The short version: Leeway has no accounts, no ads, no trackers, and no third-party analytics. Your data lives on your device and — only if you turn on sync — in your personal, private iCloud database, which we cannot access. We don't want your data; the whole point of Leeway is that your time is yours.

1. Who we are

Leeway is developed by Innovatism ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Leeway apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch handle, where it is stored, and the choices you have. If you have any question, write to admin@innovatism.app.

2. What we collect

We collect nothing. Leeway has no sign-up, no user account, and no server of ours that receives your content. Everything you put into Leeway — commitments, tasks, projects, goals, categories, focus sessions, notes, and settings — is yours and stays within Apple's ecosystem under your control, as described below.

3. Where your data lives

On your device. Your data is stored locally in the app's private storage.
In your iCloud, if you enable sync. Leeway can sync your data across your devices using Apple's CloudKit, in your private iCloud database. That database belongs to your Apple Account; it is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple, and it is technically inaccessible to us. We cannot read, browse, or export your data.
In your device backups. If you back up your device (iCloud or computer backups), Leeway's data is included under your backup settings.

4. Optional integrations — all on your device

Calendar and Reminders

You can optionally let Leeway import timed calendar events as committed time and mirror tasks to Apple Reminders. This uses Apple's EventKit framework, runs entirely on your device, and requires your explicit permission, which you can revoke at any time in Settings. Leeway works fully without it.

Voice capture and Siri

Voice capture transcribes your speech on-device using Apple's speech frameworks. Audio is not sent to us — or to anyone. Siri requests are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Notifications

Reminders and focus-session updates use local notifications, scheduled and delivered on your device. There is no push-notification server profiling you.

5. Purchases

Leeway Pro subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple shares with us only aggregate, anonymized sales reporting. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.

6. Analytics and crash reports

Leeway contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If you have opted in to “Share with App Developers” in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized, aggregated crash logs and usage statistics; that sharing is controlled entirely by you in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

7. Deleting your data

You can erase all Leeway content from within the app at any time (Settings › Erase all content), which also removes synced data from your private iCloud database. Deleting the app from all devices and removing Leeway's iCloud data in Settings › Apple Account › iCloud accomplishes the same. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.

8. Children

Leeway is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and — since we collect no data — we knowingly collect no data from them.

9. Changes to this policy

If Leeway's privacy practices ever change (for example, if a future feature required a server), we will update this page, raise the effective date, and call out material changes in the app's release notes before they take effect.
