Terms of Use

Effective date: June 11, 2026

The short version: Leeway is licensed to you for personal use under Apple's standard app license. The core app is free; Leeway Pro is an optional subscription or one-time unlock billed by Apple. Leeway is a planning tool — use your own judgment about your time. Be kind, don't abuse the app, and we'll get along fine.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Innovatism ("we", "us") covering your use of the Leeway apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch (the "App") and this website. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

The App is licensed, not sold, to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated here by reference. Where these Terms and the EULA conflict, the EULA prevails for matters it governs. The license is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control.

3. Leeway Pro — subscriptions and purchases

Plans. Leeway Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime unlock. Current prices are always shown in the App before you buy; prices may vary by region and may change for new purchases.
Billing. All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never receive your payment details.
Free trial. The yearly plan may include a free trial. You can cancel during the trial at no charge; otherwise the subscription begins when the trial ends.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
If Pro lapses. Nothing you created is taken away: existing milestones, projects, categories, and themes keep working; only creating or changing Pro-gated items re-locks until you resubscribe.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Your content

Everything you enter into Leeway remains yours. We claim no rights over it, and — as described in the Privacy Policy — we never receive it: it stays on your devices and in your private iCloud.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App;
reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the App's source code, except where the law expressly permits it;
use the App in any way that violates applicable law; or
interfere with the App's operation or attempt to bypass its purchase gating.

6. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, icon, and the Leeway name and wordmark, is our property and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Apple, the Apple logo, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch are trademarks of Apple Inc.

7. Disclaimer

Leeway is a personal planning tool. Balances, estimates, insights, and suggestions are informational aids, not professional advice, and depend on what you enter. The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including lost time, lost profits, or lost data — arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may terminate or suspend the license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 4–8 survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of the App after they take effect constitutes acceptance. The current Terms always live at innovatism.app/leeway/terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Innovatism is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes belong to the courts of that jurisdiction — except where the consumer-protection law of your country of residence grants you mandatory rights and venues, which remain unaffected.
